Church and Community Transformation
Community and Church Transformation (CCT) Program promotes the restoration of the broken relationships with God, self, others and creation.
In 2 years, the CCT program has partnered with 56 churches, 232 participants have undergone the 3-CCT module training and are currently implementing activities in their action plans in their respective churches and communities.
CCT is about:
i. Synthesizing Word and Deed
ii. Proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel
iii. Reconciled believers leading transformation through locally based community development initiatives.
iv. Church pursuing good works in the community to God’s glory.
Working with the local church.
With training provided through local churches, farmers are able to grow more crops, alleviate hunger, increase their incomes, and escape poverty for good.
- Local churches set up model plots to practically demonstrate the power of conservation agriculture to the community.
- They are also hosts of farmer field schools, where conservation agriculture is taught and transformation takes hold.
- Churches are advocates for change in the community, creating a culture where crops thrive and food security increases.
